Changes in the software
Make sure that you read ALL update changes before you do
your update. Some changes may affect your pharmacy operation and may
require the setup of certain of new features.
Changes (Enhancements & Corrections)
1. Formula searches: You can now search for formulas where the name contains a value. I.e. Show me all formulations that have the word "PROG" in the name. The "PROG" can be anywhere in the name. The name does not have to start with "PROG".
2. Formula searches: You can now search for formulas where the name ends with a value. I.e. Show me all formulations that end with the word HOUR. This will show all the formulas where the last part of the name is HOUR.
3. Chemical searches: You can now search for formulas where the name contains a value. I.e. Show me all formulations that have the word PROG in the name. The "PROG" can be anywhere in the name. It does not have to start with "PROG".

5. Patient follow up: On the new and refill prescription screens you can now press a PATIENT FOLLOW UP button. This button will allow the user to quickly add a follow up note that will be added to the TO DO list. See the new manual for complete details.
6. Compounded claim form: The Prescriber's NPI number will now print on the form.
7. There is another new way for quantity pricing. This works with multiples of the dispensing quantity and pricing. See the new manual for full details.
8. You can now choose up to 3 different Rx label styles. Each style can have it's own printer setting.
9. New report: Formulas that use device.
10. There was a correction for balance connections to the DENVER INSTRUMENTS 410 and like balances.
11. NPI numbers can now be verified.
12. New fields have been added to the patient import & the Rx export tables.
13. The ASAP report can now send the patients telephone number as the customer ID. (required by NC).
14. Changes for the CMS 1500 form.
15. Change to the ASAP V3R0 for CA. Allow for sending the ASAP NDC instead of all 9's for compounds.
16. There is now the last used list for the A/R accounts.
17. You can now setup Gross Profit Margin warnings for Compounds, Brands and Generics. In previous releases it was one setting. You can now have a setting for each drug type.
18. There is a new function that will calculate the formula's AWP from the ingredients. It works like the calculate formula cost button.
19. There is a new Rx on hold method. It uses the NOT FILLED flag of a prescription. When filling a NEW prescription you can mark a prescription as NOT FILLED. It will assign the prescription an Rx number. A large NOT FILLED flag will be displayed on the Rx. This button works as a toggle. If you print a label it will print the words "NOT FILLED" in front of the patient's NAME and the DRUG name. The not filled Rx will be displayed in the prescription history with a blue "N" in the status column. If you want to fill the prescription, open the Rx and press the FILL Rx button.
20. With the new Rx on hold system, you can now set in Options (Rx setup#2), if you want the system to use both methods, the Rx hold method or the new system.
21. In pricing schedules you can now select a new PRICE BY field. This is COST+DEV. This will include ingredient costs and the devices costs in the pricing calculations.
22. A new feature for helping IV calculations: There is a new button on the edit formula window that will allow you to calculate the amount used of an ingredient based off the quantity needed on the Rx or the quantity needed per dose. It uses the chemicals->concentration information (chemical->technical tab) for the calculations.
23. There is a new log of script filter "Not Filled Rxs". This is for the new Rx on hold system.
24. The Colorado ASAP report now sends the payment method.
25. Custom programming: The new bulk processing method is in this release.
26. Custom programming: You can now include devices made in logs when doing an auto-charge.
27. You can now use MapQuest along with Yahoo Maps for patients, doctors, etc.
28. There is a new report for users that are using the Link Rx to Log. You can now view logs by Rx numbers.
29. LOT NUMBERS: The software will now calculate the lot number using the @ sign as a daily counter. The daily counter is now accurately obtained by the logs done for the day.
30. There is a new Rx verification system. The system allows you to verify a prescription against the container. If you are using a brand or generic drug, you will scan the prescription (TK#) bar code and then scan the brand or generic bottle. If you are using a compound, you will scan the prescription (TK#) bar code and then the log bar code (LG#) from the logged formula worksheet or the log label. There are various reports you can run to show which Rxs have been checked. One of the windows shows "checked" prescriptions on one side and "non-checked" prescriptions on the other side.
31. You can now apply discounts (percentage and/or value amount) based on the prescriptions day supply. This is setup for each insurance. You can have it apply discounts to brands, generics and/or compounds.
32. The formula NAME field has been lengthened. NOTE: If you have a name too long, it will be truncated on reports and labels. If you intend to use long formula names, you should word wrap the formula name field on the Rx label so all the name will be displayed.
33. You can use the CREATE FOLLOW UP from the patient consultation and patient note windows.

34. The Rx status window now enables more buttons for a NOT FILLED Rx.
35. Fix: The Florida WC 01/07 now prints 3 claims per form instead of 4.
36. The Rx price is only recalculated is the days supply changes. If the days supply is the same then it will not recalculate the Rx price.
37. Fix: Can now print the contact's mailing labels.
38. Changes for the Bulk fill II module.
39. Other enhancements & fixes.

41. The export prescriptions to XML now allows you to export Rxs marked as not filled.
42. A patient consultation report that was removed in 3.15 was added back in the software.
