Changes in the software
Make sure that you read ALL update changes before you do
your update. Some changes may affect your pharmacy operation and may
require the setup of certain of new features.
Changes (Enhancements & Corrections)
1. Fixed: Log lot numbers: The counter now works when the log is made on any day.
2. Fixed: Editing Rx: You can now edit the payment types.
3. Fixed: The pricing schedule now shows on the pricing tab for prescriptions.
4. Australia: Rx Repeats: We now allow more room for the formula/drug name.
5. Australia: Rx Repeats: The patient name now allows for the patient's title to print.
6 Australia: Rx Repeats: We allow for more room for the patient's name & address.
7. Australia: Rx Repeats: Date format is dd/mm/yyyy.
8. Fixed: Filling a telephone Rx gave a price warning.
9. Fixed: Old bulk fill method gave a price warning.
10. Several additions to the TeleManager module. More information about delivery status.
11. When adding chemical inventory, you now only enter the AMOUNT TO BE ADDED TO INVENTORY field.
12. When filling a prescription marked as NOT FILLED, the software would date the Rx to the date entered, it now correctly uses the date dispensed.
13. A new claim form was added. Illinois Dept. of Public Aid.
14. There is a new report for the state of NY for pricing. In the drug/formula on the pricing tab there is a new field "State Qty". Enter the qty the state wants the pricing list. You can now run a report that will list all ACTIVE drugs, where the State Qty is greater than 0. The report will calculate the CASH price.
15. There is a new option for discounts on CASH pricing. On the insurance setup on the pricing tab, if you have the USE SEPARATE PRICING FOR BRANDS, GENERICS, COMPOUNDS checked, another check box APPLY TIER AS DISCOUNT will be displayed. If this is checked, the software will now apply a discount for the three TIERS.
16. There is a new sub-menu in Activities. It's called Inventory Activities. Some of the inventory items has been moved to this menu.
17. There is a new utility (Activities->Inventories Activities->Formula/Drug Process Reorders). This utility mimics a utility in another pharmacy system. This utility looks for drugs that need to be reordered. It will then add the OPTIMUM STOCK AMOUNT to the STOCK ON HAND field. You can print a report at the end of the utility.
18. If you are using The Compounder Rx and the To Do system, there is now a checking system that will check that the formula in to ToDo list matches the formula dispensed with the Rx.
19. If you are adding the log lot number devices information when creating A/R invoices, the system now adds the NDC number.
20. PC Charge credit card module. There are several internal changes to the PC Charge integration system that makes it compatible with the new PC Charge 5.7. This new update has been tested with PC Charge 5.6 & 5.7.
21. We've increased the timer on the scale integration. This allows a user how have a scale window open longer. You can use this feature to have the software document the zeroing of the balance along with the weight captured.
22. Chemical inventory: In 3.15.9 to 3.16.1 we did not allow a user to edit the amount remaining field. In 3.16.4, this field is now displayed again.
23. There is now a way to export patient information and then import the patient information into another copy of The Compounder.
