Changes in the software
Make sure that you read ALL update changes before you do
your update. Some changes may affect your pharmacy operation and may
require the setup of certain of new features.
4. You can now delete an allergy that is assigned to a chemical.
5. When printing a formula worksheet the software now only prints the STERILE information on the bottom the page if the formula is checked as a sterile item (Formula first tab).
6. When filling a prescription for a generic drug, you can now automatically print the brand name drug on the Rx label. There are two fields available. The first is just the name and strength of the brand. (I.e. PROZAC 20MG). The second is a message ('Generic for ___________(the name and strength)). These fields work on the linking mechanism of speed code and B/G code. These must be set to link the brand and generic drugs. These fields can be placed anywhere on the Rx label where there is room.
7. There was a problem in the USE DEFAULT
PRICING for the CPM users. This is corrected.
8. If you use the credit card billing module, the software will now get
the MMYY expiration date regardless of what date format is set in Windows.
9. When you make a new from old prescription, the date last filled is now
added to the prescription note.
10. We added a simple doctor edit. NOTE: Using the simple
doctor edit by-passes all validation checks that would normally occur when
adding or editing a doctor. Not all fields are available for editing.
11. We added a simple patient edit. NOTE: Using the simple

adding or editing a patient. Not all fields are available for editing.
12. In the simple edits we've added the merge record button. This
will allow you to merge records.
13. When refilling a prescription that has no refills you are asked if you
want to change refills. If you add refills, the software now goes to the
refill screen and starts the refill process.
14. PCCA CPM users: If you fill a prescription and select "00. NOT A
CPM CODE", the next time you refill the prescription it will no longer prompt
for a valid CPM code.
15. Rx history window changes: F2 now starts a new Rx. F3
starts a refill. F5 edits the patient.
16. Formula edit window. On the clinical
tab, you can now press F10 to print the patient advisory leaflets.
17. The Simple Formula Edit grid has been redone to allow for quicker
loading of formulas.
18. Users of PC Charge (credit card module): There is a new
DESCRIPTION field on the credit card billing screen. You can any
information (Rx number, patient name, etc.) This information is printed on
the credit card report.
19. When refilling a prescription and you try to dispense more than quantity owing, you will have a message displayed to you. You now have the choice to increase refills at this point.
20. When refilling a prescription and the
quantity of the last dispensing is different than the refill quantity you will
have a message displayed and asked what quantity you want to dispense.
